It’s that time of year friends. The time to crank up the fireplace, toast some marshmallows and snuggle up to your fave rom-com (aka bundles of blankets and comfy couch nights). Sure we miss the beach but there is something so cosy about Winter that makes us all warm and fuzzy on the inside and we’re embracing the chill the best way we know how-with some soft, warm and totally couch friendly outfits.
Rule #1:
Say Yes To Sweats
There are lots of reasons to love sweats, they keep you (and your bump) warm, they’re practical for coffee runs and more importantly, you can look really cute while doing the school drop off.
Rule #2:
Try The Effortless Thing
We mean the feeling and looking effortless thing. Some old school overalls, a slightly rolled up cuff, a jacket thrown over your shoulders...we’re talking about those little details that are actually as easy as they look and are as cosy as they are cool.
Rule #3:
Dress For Lounging
That’s right, the time of year to lounge in your joggers all day…especially when they’re this good. We’re getting excited just thinking about the idea of comfy track pants with lots of layers on top (!) Get Denim Happy
What’s better than jeans on a cool Winter’s day? They’re easy to dress up with blazers and boots but also look cute and low-key with sweats and sneaks. Especially when they have the look of denim but feel like track pants-like our Walk This Way Jogger. Effortless-motherhood-essential (!)
Rule #5:
Play Over-Under
Let the layering begin! Right now, we’re digging crop tops over maternity skirts (also, easy nursing access), sweats under overalls and jackets over…well, anything. There is no end to our love of layering, the more the better.
